At Total Tutoring, our mission is to bring the highest quality tuition to children and their families through the skill of professional teachers, bringing their wealth of experience and knowledge to each lesson. Total Tutoring was set up to improve the experience of local children when preparing for the 11+, since then we have expanded into GCSEs and younger years, broadening our areas of support.

Our teachers use their instincts and experience to personalise the teaching for your child so that we maximise every learning experience – improving confidence and sense of achievement which is transported back into school classrooms. Our holistic view of your child looks at all the elements which affect their ability to learn, supporting your child to overcome their fears and challenges and enjoy a love of learning.

Our Story

Tuition is a three-way commitment, our parents are very supportive and we feedback on progress and strategies regularly. Our pupils are at the centre of everything we do, we communicate and debate our strategies with them and help them to own and understand their educational journey. All this is accomplished by creating a supportive and happy environment where children feel successful, able to express themselves and to be genuinely supported.

We offer both face-to-face and online lessons, in small groups and 1 to 1. All our tutors are qualified teachers with enhanced DBS checks.
