1. Introduction and Definitions
These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you (the Parent/Guardian, referred to as “you”) and Total Tutoring Ltd. (referred to as “Total Tutoring”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By enrolling your child in our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
This agreement is governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

Total Tutoring Ltd. – the company providing tuition, courses, and educational resources

Parent/Guardian – the person responsible for enrolling a child and accepting these terms

Pupil – the child receiving tuition or participating in courses

Tutored Hour – a teaching session lasting 55 minutes, with approximately 5 minutes allocated for settling pupils and handover

Study Coach – a non-qualified but experienced mentor providing educational support
-
Registration Fee – a one-off, non-refundable fee payable upon joining Total Tutoring Ltd.

Course – a structured educational programme with a defined start and end point, including digital courses
-
Digital and Print Resources – worksheets, PDFs, videos, online materials, printed resources or other learning content provided in digital or physical form

Cooling-Off Period – the statutory 14-day period following booking

Monthly Payment – fees paid monthly in advance via online payment methods
-
Notice Period – the required notice for ending ongoing tuition
-
Respectful Behaviours Policy – expectations of conduct for pupils, parents and carers
-
Infectious Illness – any illness requiring a child to remain off school under public health guidance
-
Intellectual Property – all teaching materials, resources and content created by Total Tutoring Ltd.

Force Majeure – events beyond our reasonable control that affect service delivery
2. Services Provided
Total Tutoring Ltd. offers:

Ongoing tuition and study lessons (group and 1:1)

Structured courses (including digital courses)
-
Digital and print resources to support learning
3. Ongoing Tuition and Study Lessons (Not Courses)
Tuition and Study Lessons operate as an ongoing commitment.

Payments are made monthly in advance and are due on the first day of each month
-
All lesson fees and the registration fee are charged exclusive of VAT
-
Tuition continues unless valid notice is given in line with the Notice Period below
Notice Period
A minimum of one full academic term plus the preceding holiday period is required.
For example, if you wish to stop lessons at the end of the summer term, notice must be given before the end of the spring term.

4. Fees by Academic Year
September 2025 – August 2026

Group tuition: £37.50 per Tutored Hour (ex VAT)

1:1 tuition (qualified tutor): £72 per Tutored Hour (ex VAT)

Study Coach (1:1): £40 per Tutored Hour (ex VAT)
September 2026 – August 2027

Group tuition (qualified tutor): £42 per Tutored Hour (ex VAT)

1:1 tuition (qualified tutor): £80 per Tutored Hour (ex VAT)

Study Coach (1:1): £44 per Tutored Hour (ex VAT)
Books, digital and print resources and other learning materials are charged separately at RRP unless stated otherwise.
5. Courses
11+ Course
The 11+ Course is a complete programme with a defined structure and duration. A 14-day cooling-off period applies from the date of booking.

£225 initial payment (non-refundable after the cooling-off period)

11 monthly payments of £195

A maximum £50 discount per family may apply where eligible
No withdrawals are permitted after the cooling-off period. Full course fees remain payable.
The course includes tuition, mock tests, books, digital and print resources, structured homework and ongoing support.
Summer School and Summer Lessons

Stand-alone courses

Non-refundable once the cooling-off period has ended

Charged separately and may be paid in full or added to an existing payment plan
6. Fees, Payments and Late Payments
-
All fees and charges are exclusive of VAT. Where applicable, VAT will be added at the rate in force at the time of invoicing or payment. For fees paid in instalments, VAT (if applicable) will be charged on each instalment separately.

Fees are reviewed annually and may change from September 2027

Deposits and registration fees are non-refundable

Discounts must be used within the stated period
The person making the booking is responsible for payment in full, regardless of any private arrangements between parents or carers.

Automatic monthly payments may be required following repeated late payments
Late Payments
If payment is late:
-
Written reminder issued
-
After 7 days – £15 late payment fee added
-
After 14 days – tuition may be suspended
-
After 30 days – tuition may be cancelled, with outstanding fees remaining payable
If payments are late twice consecutively or twice within a six-month period, automatic payment will be mandatory.
7. Cooling-Off and Refund Policy
Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you may cancel within 14 days of booking.

If no services have been used, a full refund will be issued within 14 days

If services have started, the cost of delivered lessons or accessed digital or print resources will be deducted
Outside the Cooling-Off Period
No refunds or credits are issued except where:

A tutor is unavailable and no suitable alternative can be arranged

Total Tutoring Ltd. cancels a course or a significant part of it
No refunds or credits are given for pupil absence, including illness or holidays.
8. Attendance, Illness and Cancellations

Late arrivals are not compensated
-
Tutors will wait a maximum of 15 minutes unless prior notice and two-way communication has occurred
-
Repeated late collections may incur charges in 30-minute blocks at the 1:1 rate
Children who are not well enough for school are not well enough for tuition. Government guidance should be followed.
Online alternatives may be offered at our discretion.
9. Behaviour, Safeguarding and Privacy

Pupils must follow the Respectful Behaviours Policy

Serious or persistent misconduct may result in termination of services, with remaining term fees payable

All teaching staff are Enhanced DBS checked
We aim to maintain tutor continuity wherever possible. However, tutor changes may occasionally be necessary due to availability, illness or operational requirements.
Group composition may change as pupils join or leave. We will always aim to maintain balanced and supportive groups.
Online tuition must take place in shared family spaces. Bedrooms are not suitable.
Lessons may be recorded for safeguarding, quality assurance or educational purposes. Short clips or images may be used for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing. Online courses will be recorded.
10. Educational Outcomes
While we work hard to support progress, we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, exam results or school places, including grammar school offers. Every child’s journey is individual.
11. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited except where exclusion is prohibited by law.
12. Intellectual Property and Licence
All teaching materials, digital and print resources and course content remain the intellectual property of Total Tutoring Ltd.
Parents and pupils are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use materials solely for the pupil’s personal educational purposes. Materials may not be copied, shared, distributed, uploaded, resold or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
13. Data Protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR.
14. Changes and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
