Our 11+ mock tests give children the opportunity to experience realistic exam conditions in a calm and supportive environment. Sitting a full test under timed conditions helps pupils become familiar with the format, practise managing their nerves and build confidence ahead of the real exam.
The mock also allows us to see how children perform under realistic pressure. It can highlight important issues such as timing, exam technique or missed sections of the paper, while giving tutors and parents a helpful snapshot of a child’s current academic performance.
Following the test, our qualified teachers provide brief, targeted feedback to help identify the areas where support will make the greatest difference during the final months of preparation.
These mock exams are designed for Year 5 pupils and are carefully timed within the summer term, once children have largely completed the curriculum and begun practising exam techniques.
Test PapersTo ensure fairness and consistency:
All May mock sessions use the same test paper (Paper A).
All June mock sessions use a different test paper (Paper B).
For this reason, pupils should only book one May test and one June test. Booking multiple sessions within the same month will result in sitting the same paper twice, which will not provide a useful assessment.
For Total Tutoring Families
Pupils currently enrolled in our 11+ tuition programme receive two mock tests as part of their package:
One May mock test (Paper A)
One June mock test (Paper B)
A voucher code will be provided so these sessions can be booked at no additional charge.
These places are reserved specifically for Total Tutoring pupils and voucher codes are not transferable. Any bookings made using the code by families not enrolled in our 11+ programme will be considered invalid and may be cancelled.
Please provide your child with a small nut-free snack and a drink of water for the short break during the session.
Before booking, please take a moment to read our Terms and Conditions:
